The Airsoft3D "Picatinny Rail to Rail Adapter" lets you mount two Picatinny rails back-to-back. It's primary purpose is to allow you to attach anything with a Picatinny weaver rail to anything else with a Picatinny rail. This web page provides the proper instruction for using this Picatinny to Picatinny mount adapter.
For example, you can mount an airsoft handgun to the bottom of a quad-rail on an airsoft assault rifle. Or you can attach an airsoft saw-off shotgun to the bottom of an airsoft assault rifle. You can use it to create interesting combinations for cosplay. The possibility is only limited by your imagination.
The Picatinny to Picatinny adapter comes in three different pieces. If you have it printed through Sculpteo, they will be in separate ziplock bags (see photo below).
The photo below shows the three pieces after you un-pack them. They will be in the color and material that you ordered.
You will also need two sets of screws and nuts--M5x25mm or #10-32x1"--to fasten this mount to Picatinny accessory rails. The screws and nuts are not include, but can be easily sourced from your local hardware store (e.g. Home Depot, Lowes, etc.).
Insert the screws through the rounded holes on the adapter (see photo above). The hex-shaped hole are for the hex nuts (see photo below).
The photos above shows how the Picatinny to Picatinny adapter should be assembled.
You install the Picatinny to Picatinny adapter onto the Picatinny rails is pretty much the same way as any other Picatinny weaver accessories. Start by mounting the adapter to one of the Picatinny rail. The photo below shows the Picatinny to Picatinny adapter mounted to the top of a scope ring.
Next, mount the other side of the adapter to the other Picatinny rail. The photo below shows the Picatinny to Picatinny adapter mounted to a riser and a scope ring, fixing both in place.
WARNING
Although you can use this mount adapter on your real firearm, we have never tested it on a real firearms before. We do not know if the firearm recoil will or will not damage it. Use it with real firearms at your own risk.
