Airsoft3D has released its Helio M726 scifi under-barrel shotgun system.
The Helio M726 Underbarrel Shotgun is marketed toward airsoft special operations forces and soldiers, who wanted to reduce the number of individual weapons they had to carry by using a shotgun as a rifle attachment instead of a discrete weapon. The idea of the Helio M726 is to provide future soldiers with lightweight accessory weapons which could be mounted under any rifle. The Helio M726 would provide soldiers with additional capabilities, such as: room breaching, hitting short-range targets, and attacking multiple charging targets (i.e. zombies).
Compared to the present day airsoft replicas of the KAC MasterKey and the M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System (MASS), the futuristic Helio M726 Underbarrel Shotgun is smaller, lighter, less moving parts, more flexible, and less expensive. It's smaller and lighter attachment allows the rifle to be more maneuverable in confined spaces. It's more reliable due to less moving parts. It's more flexible for you to mount it in any orientation on your airsoft gun. And it's less expensive than other underbarrel shotguns speaks for itself.
The Helio M726 system uses realistic shotgun shell replicas from APS or Goblin. These shotshells fires twelve 6mm BB rounds, making Helio M726 the most realistic firing under-barrel shotgun on the market.
"Completing researching and development for the Helio M726 is a huge step forward for the airsoft community. Airsoft3D is committed to produce science fiction airsoft products that is both functional and aesthetic pleasing. And we can do that with cutting edge technology."
Using cutting-edge 3D printing technology, Airsoft3D is able to deliver high-quality Helio M726 Under-barrel Shotguns that are printed with nylon polymer.
"Nylon polymer is far stronger and far more heat resistant compared to traditional ABS plastic. Currently, to print nylon polymer, we use extremely high quality 3D printers that costs around $20,000. Your typical home 3D printer can't do that."
