After getting the WE F226 airsoft pistol, a Sig Sauer P226 replica, I started looking for a P226 holster. I liked the Serpa holster, but they seemed very pricy. However, I saw the SigTac Roto Retention Paddle Holster and was immediately sold on its inexpensive price. And being an official accessory for the Sig Sauer P226, I figured it would be a great buy.
The SigTac Roto Retention Paddle Holster comes in a really nice reusable plastic box container (see photo below). The container includes the holster, a hex wrench, and instruction manual.
The SigTac Roto Retention Paddle Holster has a nice black semi-gloss matte finish (see photo below). It's made out of hard plastic and is very sturdy. A trigger release button keeps the pistol locked in the holster until you press it.
The back of the holster is the paddle (see photo below) to secure to your belt. It can be rotated, but you have to loosen it first with the hex wrench. The hole through the locking button allows the hex wrench to loosen and tighten the paddle.
I have been very happy with the SigTac Roto Retention Paddle Holster, until I try to fit the WE F226 airsoft pistol into the holster. As you can see from the photo below, that's as far as the WE F226 will go into the SigTac Roto Retention Paddle Holster. The WE F226 is a little too wide for the holster.
Sadly, I have returned the SigTac Roto Retention Paddle Holster, because I could not use it with the WE F226. I can't fault the SigTac Roto Retention Paddle Holster for this problem, because it is made for the real Sig Sauer P226 firearm. I only wished the WE F226's dimension matched the Sig Sauer P226 exactly.
