The AK Adapter for M4 Magazine is a mag well converter for some AK airsoft electronic guns (AEG) to use M4 AEG magazines. See compatibility below. This web page provides the proper instruction for using this airsoft magazine adapter.
You may acquire the AK Adapter for M4 Magazine in numerous different colors. This instruction uses the white version so that it stands out from the airsoft rifle and the environment in the photographs.
This airsoft magazine converter is compatible with AK series airsoft guns that are based on the Tokyo Marui design. It is compatible with most high-power electronic guns (HPEG). This adapter is not compatible with low-power electronic guns (LPEG). Slight modifications may be required due to the tolerance differences between airsoft manufacturers.

Before using the AK Adapter for M4 Magazine, be sure to inspect the BB feeding tube. Use a 6mm airsoft BB to ensure this tube is free from obstruction. Do not jam the BB in, just let it fall through, or dump the BB out if it doesn't fall through
The AK Adapter for M4 Magazine is 3D printed using the latest 3D printing technology. The high-end 3D commercial printer lays down fine powder and uses laser to fuse the powder into shape. After the product is 3D printed, a specialist removes the product from the powder and blows the excess powder away. In some cases, the internal areas are missed during this cleaning process.
When you first get your magazine converter, drop an 6mm airsoft BB through the feeding tube. It should fall freely through. In that case, the magazine converter is ready for use.
If the airsoft BB does not fall freely through, turn the magazine converter upside down to drop the BB back out. Do not try to force the BB through; it may jam and lodge in the tube.
The obstruction is usually caused by loose powder build up during 3D printing. Unwind a paper clip and use it to scrape the powder out (see photo below). The powder is extremely fine, be sure to clear them out over a trash can and keep a distance away from your face. Repeat this process until the airsoft BB falls through freely.
This magwell conversion kit installs into the AK47, AK74, and other AK-series AEG in the same manner as the AK AEG magazine. Insert this airsoft magwell converter into the front of the magazine well, then rotate it back upward into place until it clicks in.
The photo above shows the converter installed into the AK47 AEG properly.
WARNING
Always install this airsoft magazine converter into the AK AEG before inserting the M4 magazine into the adapter. This adapter will cause the BB's in the M4 AEG magazine to release, potentially hitting your eyes if the BB feeding hole is pointed toward your face. Therefore, the proper way to use this adapter is to install it into the AK AEG first.
The M4 magazine inserts into the adapter the same way as you would insert it into a M4 mag well; you push the magazine straight up, until it clicks into place. The photo below shows the M4 magazine inserted fully into the adapter.
When you first receive this brand new airsoft magazine converter, the insertion could be very tight and a little difficult. It may take a few insertions to break-in a brand new converter.
The photo above shows the magazine is properly inserted into the airsoft magazine converter all the way.
The photo below shows the proper way to remove the magazine from this airsoft magazine adapter.
Insert your thumb in between the magazine release paddle and the magazine. Then pull the magazine downward to remove.
WARNING
Do not remove the AK Adapter for M4 Magazine from the AK AEG with the M4 magazine still attached. If there are BB's in the M4 magazine, they will eject. Always remove the M4 magazine first.
