Airsoft3D M249 Lower RAS RIS Handrail FAQ

Q: Do you know how much it weights? I am wondering if it is lighter than the metal versions which are avaialble for airsoft?: We never measured the M249 handrail. But based on our experience, our nylon polymer (plastic) parts are more than 6 times lighter than the equivalent steel version (see photo below). They are 3 times lighter than the equivalent aluminum version; we didn't publish the weight, but the equivalent aluminum version weighs 1.5 oz. Seeing these evidences, I am sure our RIS is much lighter than the metal equivalent.
