As we indicated in our Airsoft vs. Nerf article, Nerf and airsoft are two similar but different sports that kids and adults can enjoy. But sometime toys on one side can become very useful on the other. In this article, we will look at some Nerf gun toys that could prove to be very useful in your upcoming airsoft games.
The Nerf N-Strike Thunderblast Launcher fires Nerf Mega Missiles. Nerf rockets is common in airsoft battle to simulate airsoft rockets. You can use this launcher like a grenade launcher or a rocket launcher. Although it only launches Mega Missiles up to 60 feet away, it can be a great way to disable vehicles in airsoft battles from a short range.
It's shoulder stock holds two spare Mega Missiles, so you don't have to worry about where to store extra rockets. The launcher is powered manually by pumping the front grip, so it is completely self-contained and ready for the battlefield.
The Nerf Rail Blade is available as part of the Nerf Modulus Close Quarters Upgrade Kit (see "Related Links" below). Airsoft battles allow you to use fake combat knife for up close silent kills. This soft rubber knife is perfect for this purpose.
The Nerf Rail Blade is a good simulation for a bayonet combat knife. It is meant for frontal attachment to Nerf guns. But you can attach it to your airsoft gun using Airsoft3D Picatinny to Nerf Adapter (see "Related Links" below).
