The following is a list of Tokyo Marui gearbox versions and the type of guns they are installed into. As other companies start developing custom gearboxes, the new custom gearboxes might not be associated with Tokyo Marui versions.
Guns: FAMAS
Guns: M16 (AR15, M4, Ikazuchi, Thunder Maul, M27, SPR, LR-300 etc.), MP5, G3 (T3, MC51), M15, PDW, SA58 (MK58)
Parts Compatibility: Version 3 gears (spur, sector, bevel) are compatible with version 2 gearbox. Version 3 piston is compatible with version 2 gearbox.
Guns: SR-25
Guns: AK-series, MP5K, UMP, AUG, G36, PP-19 Bizon, SIG, FAL, Urban Assault Rifle (UAR), Galil, VSS Vintorez (AY, Echo1 Red Star IGOR, S&T)
Parts Compatibility: Version 2 gears (spur, sector, bevel) are compatible with version 3 gearbox. Version 2 piston is compatible with version 3 gearbox.
Exceptions: VSS Vintorez AEG uses non-version 3 air nozzle, cylinder head, and tappet plate.
