Has anyone gotten anything cool from this? Thinking about trying it out

I got a 400 gun for 189 from an airsoft gi mystery box once. I would go into the contest with a mindset of being willing to be happy with the lowest end prize. If you are, its all gravy from there on.
I've done others in the past and received the low end prize on most occasions.
Good luck

Evike's Box of Awesomeness are generally very good deals. I have gotten one before. I have gotten the highest probability product, but it is still an excellent deal and the M4 is very high quality. The deal difference is about $100. Because the gun had mostly high-quality parts, it has been easy to built it into a DMR.
Intel tells me that the "mystery rifle from the Evike marketing room" may be the Chrono Blaster CB-88 (which cannot be sold). The "red dot scope" is likely the Eotech clone (which can no longer be sold).
Evike's boxes are generally better than other retail's mystery boxes, jackpot boxes, etc., because the lowest priced product generally retails higher than the price of the Box of Awesomeness. Evike also throws in a lot of bonuses, which other retails do not.
Other retailer's boxes' lowest product usually match the box price, meaning the retailer is just pushing slow moving products through a gimmick. Although Evike also pushes slow moving products or products that can't be sold, The price difference makes it an excellent value.
