Create Your Own Secondary Mission Objective

After playing airsoft over and over again on a certain field, you'd know the field like the back of your hand, you'd know the enemy's tactics, and you'd know the winning method. It could get a little monotonous. Some indoor fields change the field to keep you on the toes. They run different fantasy missions or distinct MilSim missions. That's good for flavoring. But you can add some of your own flavoring to your airsoft games to spice things up and challenge you and your team mates.

In addition to accomplishing the primary mission objective established by the field ref, you can add your own secondary objective. For example, to create a map of an indoor field, where you can't use satellite imagery, you need to gather intelligence. Run a secondary mission objective of taking photos or marking diagrams to complete your field map. Is a building on your map incorrectly drawn? Run a mission to gather that intelligence.

How about turning a fantasy "raise the flag" and "football" game into a MilSim operation? Create a mission objective for one of your fire team to reach a certain location on the map to provide flanking maneuver or suppression fire.

The possibilities are endless. Use this technique to make the games more interesting and give your team mates a higher goal.
