I'm definitely interested in this event. Its local and sounds awesome. I'd be up for going if we can get a group together. Anyone else interested?

Looks like an awesome event. I don't know if I would be able go, but it's definitely right up my alley and more!
For me, just the training is worth half the cost of this trip. Three hour gaming sessions is priceless. And optional night missions... wow! Plus, food and lodging. That's crazy good deal.
By the way, there are two ordering pages. One for the green side and one for the desert side.

There is a higher FPS limit on this event. If you are interested in upgrading your existing gun for it, check out this post, which contains a video and an analysis to build your gun up: How to Build an Airsoft DMR

I'm thinking green team because of the camouflage and the location.

I'd say Green team would be good. There are some diverse options for camo (including multicam).

I am interested as well. Sounds like green team is the majority. Its great how fast you guys are moving along I have no idea how quickly these tickets may sell out.
I gotta put a buy list together for myself to plan purchases. I appreciated JM linking some discount gear. If anyone else could post links to discount gear including AEGs suited for this kind of play it would be great.

Thanks for giving me an excuse to post this message, EC.
If you don't want to build your own high FPS AEG, here is a 450 FPS AEG from Airsoft Megastore. It is a JG UA-3 RAS (Steyr AUG) for $200:

I called Evike at 2 PM PST. They said they had 55 seats left on green team and 58 seats left on desert team. They just opened it today so there's no telling how fast it may sell.

Cleared by wife for the mission. Tickets purchased. I'm in! Why is there shipping? Just curious.

Sweet! We've got a good group already, and August is sufficiently far off to get ready for with respect to equipment/supplies.

You forgot training, JM. There is a MilSim operation on Saturday at Code Red. And a big MilSim event in May. Should definitely train during those events.

Just signed up. Now I need Multicam gear.
I also talked with Evike and they said they send a player package which is why you pay shipping. They are not that strict on the magazine types, so high caps are ok. However they will be strict on biodegradable bb's.

I called Evike about the August trip. Two things: for those of us that are considering going polar star - they are permitted. The second thing is I asked about getting us all in one cabin. We just need to get to the location early to get all checked in. I think if we get at least a couple people there early enough we can work out all of us in one place. The guy I talked to seemed to think it wouldn't be an issue keeping us together.
