Last weekend, we attended this CQB training. We didn't know what to expect, because there was very little detail on the sign up page about this course. But after attending it, we realize the entry price is well worth the cost.
In four hours, the instructors taught a number of combat principles. At every step of the way, we performed drills. And if you go with a team, you will have a chance to practice techniques that you normally will not have an opportunity to practice. The following topics were covered during the four hours:
Afterward, we were even allowed to play at Tac City. So the field entry was included with the training. The Navy Seal instructor also played. We wanted to see him in action, both on our side and on the opposing side. Unfortunately, we did not bring the right equipment for pick-up games.
Listening to the instructors, even though this course is the 6th in the series, the topic doesn't change very much from one course to another. If you have taken it before, you'll rehash the same topic, but you'll get to practice again.
In the past, the course costs $60 (also including day play). For $40, it's a bargain.
