Desert Rats is hosting its monthly MilSim event at Code Red Airsoft Park. This event is the precursor to the Operation: Imperative Action 2015-03-14 event. "This day will be focused on common-core tactics and rules at mil-sim games such as our operations and other nationwide type events. Rules, squads, medics, reload, ambush, suppression, [withdrawal], attack and more."
Location: Code Red Airsoft Park
Date: 2015-02-21 (Saturday)
Time: 9 AM - 4 PM
Price: $20
Scenarios may include:
- Buildings: Search, secure and withdrawl
- Force on Force: Eliminate opposing forces
- Terrorists: Simulated explosives and ordinance, information collection
- World War 2: Storm the beaches, secure cities, change history
- Psychological Games: Spy games and unknown threats
- Randomness: The Board/Bored Game (no team wins... ever)
- Fallujah: Our take on a modern battle
- Samalia/Pirate Ship: Simulated ship boarding through corridors

So far I have only heard exciting things about this Desert Rats MilSim airsoft event. It seems everyone of our crew, who went this past Saturday raved about it... and I don't believe any of them actually listens to rave music. Nevertheless, the consensus I kept hearing is that we should plan to go to all Desert Rats MilSims, which is usually once per month except during Nov/Dec. I think that is a great idea. Looking forward to the 3/14 event.
