Airsoft3D has ventured into creating new products for the AUG airsoft electronic guns. The AUG is a classic firearm produced by Steyr for the Australian army. It has succeeded in achieving many goals that the U.S. future soldier XM8 project attempted to achieve; just 32 years prior to the invention of the XM8. For example, the AUG can be converted into a CQB rifle, a sniper rifle, or a suppression rifle with a simple change of barrel.
Airsoft3D is proud to be producing new and innovating parts for the AUG airsoft gun. Several Airsoft3D AUG parts are now on the market with any more in the design, prototype, and test pipeline.
The traditional AUG has no Picatinny rails. Airsoft3D solves this problem by introducing a cost-effective "AUG Barrel Picatinny Rails" that provides three accessory mounting points. Go a step further with Airsoft3D's "AUG Barrel Stabilizer with Rails", which has a longer bottom rail, to stabilize the AUG barrel from wobbling. Stabilizing the external barrel enhances accuracy and precision.
An Airsoft3D spokesman commented enthusiastically, "In the past, AUG has kind of been sidelined compared to the M4 and AK airsoft guns. We are excited to improve the AUG through these innovative parts. For example, our customers can now replace the standard AUG foregrip with any ergonomic third-party foregrips."
The AUG battery compartment has always been a limitation to using bigger, stronger batteries. Airsoft3D sells the "AUG Replacement Gearbox Battery Plate", increasing the battery compartment volume. It is much easier to fit a 8-cell battery and a LiFe battery with it.
Using cutting-edge 3D printing technology, Airsoft3D is able to deliver these high quality parts to AUG users. The parts are printed on demand, therefore, will never go out of stock.
There are also many other Airsoft3D AUG part in the pipeline. Airsoft3D is currently prototyping and testing the "AUG Adapter for M4 Mag". "The M4 mag adapter for AUG works, but it is very rough and needs a few design refinements. We are very close to bring it to the market." Being able to use the M4 magazine in the AUG means simpler logistics for the airsoft players on the airsoft field.
There is also a "AUG Hop Up Locking Ring" and a "AUG Laser Mount Adapter" in the design stage. There is a lot of wonderful Airsoft3D products on the way.
