Taking a Airsoft Gun to a Paintball Match

One thing that prevent me from getting into the paintball sport is because the paintball marker (gun) looks so unrealistic. There are paintball guns modeled after realistic weapons. But almost all of them have the paintball feeder on top.

So I stuck to airsoft, even though I did play paintball once. However, I came across 6mm paintballs recently. They basically turn your airsoft gun into a paintball marker. For example, Splatmatic Flying Colors 400-ct. Bottle 6 mm Paintballs.

Have you taken your airsoft gun into a paintball match with these 6mm paintballs? Please share your experience if you have.
