After attending an airsoft #zombies night game, my friend and I had a discuss about how to capture video of it next time. Our chat message may be helpful to those of you who are also interested in shooting zombie cinematography at night.
Friend: I just want my Neptune Pine so I can use it next time
Me: call the people working on it.
Friend: Does go pro do night vision filming?
Me: probably not...
Me: but you can do it with any camera with ir or uv flashlight.
Friend: Night vision filming would be cool. Hope Apple and Samsung works on it for future phones
Friend: What do you mean?
Me: use one of those flashlight to light up the scene for the camera.
Me: human eyes cant see those lights.
Friend: Oh?
Me: yup...
Me: we did that at your house one Halloween.
Friend: Use an UV or IR light will light up the camera?
Friend: Oh..
Me: camera will see the light, but not humans.
Me: it is only $15 for one of those flashlights.
Me: and you can use it with any camera.
Friend: Nice. Well try that next time. Got a link

Friend: Which is better?
Me: Which is better depends on the camera sensor.
Friend: Phone camera
Friend: Or go pro
Me: Some camera sensor is more sensitive over one or another.
Friend: Which did you get?
Friend: Which would you get?
Me: The only way to know is to try...
Me: or work for the engineering department of the particular camera
Me: I think they are all better than nothing...
Friend: What would the 100 nm diff be?
Me: light wavelength.
Friend: Seems like some people are saying they got only a flashlight with blue lights and not UV
Friend: Talking about the UV one
Me: It is a risk... but you need uv, not blue light.
Friend: Yeah
Me: Blacklight is basically UV light.
Me: so you can test your camera sensitivity to UV with a halloween bulb.
Friend: I'll check it out at REI and then buy it online
Friend: Okay. Good idea
Me: that is actually what we used at your house.
Me: I doubt REI would have it.
