While playing airsoft at our local indoor CQB field tonight, we met a player on the opposite team. He has eight years of airsoft experience, plays on a team that is sponsored by a well know airsoft chain, and his primary weapons are GBB guns. But tonight, he put away his GBB pistol and GBB rifle. The reason is because it was rather cold tonight and the GBB guns has not worked too well. He claimed that he has felt the pressure to be too low in his GBB pistol during the first game. Therefore, he has switched over to the AEG that he brings as backup.
And we are down here in Los Angeles where the weather just doesn't get that cold. For example, tonight, after the game, the weather is reported as 48 degrees F in the city where we played. It has probably been a little warmer earlier, while we played.
He claims that the GBB works most of the year in this area. It's just during the three months that are really cold where he has to switch to AEG.
