Usually, I dump all the packing popcorns into the recycling bin. Because they are quite unmanageable if they get out of the box. But luckily, I have missed a small box of them (see photo below) in my garage. While building my DMR, I have found that they are actually very useful in some cases for airsoft.
Let's share some of our mod tricks with packing popcorns. How do you use them?

My DMR has two outer barrel extensions on an thread adapter. It is quite long and prone to vibration because it has a floating handguard. The packing popcorns serves as an excellent gap filler (see photo below). The popcorn is easily squishable to fit any shape and form of a gap. You can use some white glue to keep them integrated as one unit.
