On the airsoft battlefield, action doesn't stop. So I always use the single point sling. My weapon is always at the ready. But when I after getting the Echo1 Red Star IGOR VSS Vintorez, I have a problem.
You see in the photo above, the sling mounts are in front of the receiver and at the rear of the shoulder stock. Those two sling points aren't very friendly to the single-point sling. The VSS Vintorez, being a sniper rifle, expects the marksman to use the double-point sling, so that it can be shouldered.
In real life military operation, that's probably sufficient. But in airsoft, there is no need to shoulder the rifle. In fact, I plan to use it as a SMG with its full-auto firing feature. So I need the single point sling mount at the rear of the receiver.
Luckily, I have the Cyma C.39 AK Gun Sight Support bracket I use to mount sights and magnifiers to this gun. Using a strong string to make three knots on the bracket created a makeshift sling mount (see photo below). Then I simply clipped the single-point sling into one of the three knots (not the outer most one).
