I was walking down Wal-mart and noticed that Halloween costumes and props are now in the isles. I noticed that various fake knives, swords, axes, and light sabres. Some of them have fake blood and other gruesome particles on them. And I thought, wouldn't it be fun to take some of these fake Halloween knives to an airsoft field. "Killing" your opponents with a Halloween knife could give you a different experience than your typical airsoft games.
I remember at one local indoor CQB field, someone had bring fake battle axes and were using them to "kill" opponents. I thought that was a rather refreshing and entertaining element in the game.
The aesthetics of a fake Halloween knife also adds to the night time atmosphere. And even more so if you are going to participate at an Halloween zombie airsoft event. Take a fake Halloween cleaver and chop up those zombies at night.
One fake knife costs only $2.50 at Wal-mart. That is really affordable compared to the rubber training combat knives that we carry to airsoft games. The rubber training combat knives costs around $15. You can buy six different fake Halloween knives for that price.

Bought some neat Halloween knives at Wal-mart today, see photo below. The glow-in-the-dark knife and cleaver were only 97 cents. The skeleton sword is $1.97. The small skeleton knife is the most expensive ($3.97). Altogether, it costs less than ten bucks.
The glow-in-the-dark knife will come in handy at a night airsoft game. The glow-in-the-dark knife can be used tactically so that your teammate won't shoot you. And it will be a thrill to get a knife kill with such a novelty item.
