I just saw the CAA RONI Pistol-Carbine Conversion for airsoft guns (see photo below). Online airsoft retailers are starting to carry them for about $100. I can see the point of converting your pistol into carbine: 1) increase stability with shoulder stock and forward grip (improve accuracy); 2) ability to add more accessories to your gun. But what I don't get is why for that price?
What I mean is for around $100, you can get an actual airsoft carbine. Don't believe me? Try (JG) GB G36C Electric Airsoft AEG Gun for $95.75 on Amazon. It even comes with battery and charger.
While the CAA RONI Pistol-Carbine Conversion is a cool idea. For the price, it just doesn't seem worth while. Unless you just want it for the cool factor. Is there, perhaps, another good reason to convert your pistol into a carbine in this manner?
