I have been changing the inner barrel of my gun out a lot recently to run some velocity, accuracy, and precision tests. I've learned a few tips and tricks that I wanted to share.
- When removing the inner barrel from the hop-up unit, turn the hop-up unit upside down. That would prevent the hop-up spacer from falling out. Then you'll want to put the inner barrel back in with the unit upside down as well.
- If you have a hop-up with very tight adjustment gears, you can leave the hop-up setting as they are while removing and inserting inner barrels. You can preserve the hop-up setting between inner barrels in this manner. That's assuming you haven't turned the hop-up all the way up, which may possibly prevent the inner barrel removal.
Do you have tips and tricks of your own? Feel free to share them in this thread.
