Removing the Orange Tip on the Well R4 (MP7) AEG

The Well R-4 is a well-made MP7 replica. But the orange tip looks quite out of place. Luckily it is fairly easy to remove. If you look closely, you'll see that it's held in place with a pin (see photo below).

Punch out the pin with a strong strike on the punch with a rubber mallot. It's easier to do this with the front barrel tip detached from the gun.

With a bit of wiggling, the orange tip will come off. It's only held on by a small bit of glue. The orange tip is a fairly tight fit, so you can actually put it back on for transportation and then remove it at the airsoft field.
