My friend was complaining to me about his DBoys M4 CQB-R AEG rifle. It was a good looking gun, made out of full metal, and had a Rail Interface System (RIS). But his complaint was the the front end of the gun is not rigid enough. He twisted the RIS with his hands and it bent and moved. He placed a bore sight into the inner barrel. When he placed pressure on the foresight, the inner barrel flexed and moved.
Basically, he can't sight his gun in. And mounting any target acquisition items on the RIS is useless, because it rocks and moves. He claims that the receiver and RIS aren't even true (straight). The bottom line is that it is a poor quality airsoft gun, even though it's a full metal gun in the $160 range.
Once thing he warns me about picking the next gun is to make sure the quality is high. Several suggestions: 1) see the gun in person; 2) test the RIS rigidity by twisting it with your hand; and 3) bring a bore sight to make sure the inner barrel is stiff and well braced to the outer barrel.
