Has anyone found a metal replacement tip to the silencer? All the versions in Asia have metal threaded tips.

Did you mean you want a metal one that is exactly like the unthreaded orange one that Echo1 provides? Or did you mean you want a metal threaded one like the ones in Asia?

Thanks Jake, I am trying to find a metal one that is threaded like the ones sold in Asia. I don't really want to try to fabricate something.

Looks like I may have to go into business manufacturing these to look like the real steel suppressor plug. Pretty sure the suppressor is the same between all the manufactures. And offer the at a low price, depending the interest and need...and I really need one to complete the look.

Sounds like a good idea. How are you going to fabricate it?

Thinking stainless steel, lathe and drill press, and fine thread. Unsure about powder coating, that would increase cost, maybe black engine paint and bake. That's if I sell them, if not, then I will find an aluminum plug and go from there. Surprised nobody sells these out of metal

Ha... I'm still waiting for mid-caps for the VSS after a whole year... Wondering if airsoft VSS market is too small in the U.S. :-(

Title: How to Remove the Orange Tip on the Echo1 Red Star IGOR?
Weblog: Airsoft SpecOps
Excerpt: I just got the Echo1 VSS Vintorez. It is a sniper rifle, so the orange tip will stand out while hidden. The orange tip is firmly attached to the mock silencer. Does anyone know how to remove it without damaging it?
