Elite Force vs. King Arms M4 Plastic Magazines

So I have been looking at the Elite Force and Kimg Arms magazines. They are the plastic ones. My friend has been thinking about getting set of ten mid cap mags so that he can play MilSim. From Evike's online photos, the magazines from the two brands look exactly the same. Anyone have any experience with them?

Has anyone taken the round cap at the bottom of the magazine off? Does the spring come out from there? The King Arms caps rotate, but I have not tried pulling out the spring at the local store. Is the Elite Force version have removable spring?

My friend took the risk to order a set of Elite Force M4 mid capacity mags. He just got them today. Their caps are removable, so you can pull the spring out. It seems that Elite Force and King Arms magazines are identical.
