The APS ASR107 M4 URX Raptor comes with lots of high grade parts stock--most of its internals are stainless steel--therefore is a great platform to upgrade. It is also bases on the standard M4 version 2 gearbox platform. So parts are abundant. From the factory, it shoots 330 FPS, but can be easily upgraded to DMR.
I started this thread to explain how I upgraded mine and to help you upgrade yours. Feel free to talk about your ideas and success stories regarding this AEG. If you post questions, I will attempt to answer it.
I will start by sharing my upgrades:
1. PPS/SHS Shock Transfer System (STS). With any full metal M4 platform, first thing to add is the brace that goes between the gearbox and lower receiver. This upgrade ensures that your V2 gearbox will last a while longer.
2. M140 spring, high torque motor and high current battery. With these three upgrades, my URX Raptor shoots exactly 400 FPS, which is the limit for most outdoor fields. The high torque motor is a the Evike Monstor Motor (Long). The battery can be a LiPO or a LiFePO. I use a 9.9v LiFe battery with this setup.
3. Red dot scope. Of course, you will want a red dot scope. The URX Raptor is a very accurate and precise AEG. You should take advantage of its precision with a good red dot scope.
These upgrades are generally enough, but if you want a DMR, then read on to my next post.

DMR Setup 1: Upgrade to a 6.03mm 363mm tightbore for 426 FPS. You will need a longer external barrel to cover the inner barrel.
DMR Setup 2: Moves up to a M145 spring netted 419 FPS. Switch to a 6.03mm 363mm tightbore for 455 FPS. You will need a longer external barrel to cover the internal barrel.
So far, I am not satisfied with either of the setup above. The first one does not meet my goal of 450 FPS. The second is 5 FPS over. I like the M140 spring, so my next attempt is to try a longer and/or smaller diameter barrel.
