The World's First Two-Picatinny-Rail Adapter

There are adapters that convert a single electrical outlet to multiple electrical outlets. There are adapters that convert a single Tamiya connector to two parallel Tamiya connectors. There are adapters that convert a single magazine to two stacked magazines. Why isn't there an adapter that convert a single Picatinny rail to two parallel Picatinny rails?
