The most popular question our customers have regarding our Airsoft3D TeleScopix Shoulder Stock System is whether the Picatinny mount interface will be strong enough to handle the normal wear and tear. So we conducted a test with our JG MP5 AEG, our "MP5 Receiver Picatinny Mount Adapter", our "One World Shoulder Stock", and a simple sling. The entire configuration, shown in the photo below, weighs 3.8 lbs.

To conduct this test, we used soft padding so that if the MP5 does drop due to a failure, it would be protected.
First, we stood over the soft padding with the sling in one hand at neck height, to simulate the sling around the neck. We picked up the MP5 with the other hand, raised it to neck height. Then we dropped the gun in this manner five times. The gun and the nylon polymer plastic parts didn't budge at all.
Next, with the sling in one hand at neck height and the MP5 free hanging, we pulled and tugged upward. We did this five times and suddenly the MP5 dropped to the soft padding.
To our astonishment, nothing on the gun nor the nylon polymer parts failed. They were still attached solid like a rock. It was the metal clip at the end of the sling that bent and gave (see photo below).

From this experience, we can say that the nylon polymer plastic Picatinny interface is exceptionally strong. It's stronger than some metal; such as this metal clip at the end of this sling. And we already know that nylon polymer is almost twice as strong as ABS plastic and almost twice the heat resistance as well.
